The object of BlackJack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21.
Classic Blackjack is played with one standard deck of 52 playing cards that is shuffled before each game. In Blackjack, aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and number cards as their face value.
The dealer must stand on a hard or soft 17 or higher and draw on a hard or soft 16 or lower.
Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards. If the dealer goes BUST but the player's hand is under 21 the player wins. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'. The Dealer will announce Blackjack, pay you one and one-half times the bet, then remove those cards before acting on any other hands.
Insurance costs half your original bet. If he has Blackjack, the hand will be a Push (Standoff) The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand.
