After each game has been played, the used cards
are shuffled back into the deck. The cards are dealt clockwise from a dealing "shoe. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going bust. If the player doubles and the dealer's first card is of value 11, and the dealer gets blackjack, the player loses both his bets.
