You may draw as many additional cards as wanted as long as the value of your hand does not exceed 21. During a game of Blackjack cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. All face cards - Jacks, Kings and Queens, have a value of 10. Cards 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 count at face value. Doubling after splitting allowed. It cannot be beaten, only matched. The Dealer will announce Blackjack, pay you one and one-half times the bet, then remove those cards before acting on any other hands.
If the dealer's hand total and the player's hand total are the same than the hand is a tie or PUSH and the player's bet is returned. The player may double after splitting. The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case. If the player doubles and the dealer's first card is of value 11, and the dealer gets blackjack, the player loses both his bets. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split.
