Blackjack is a game of skill and chance between you and the Dealer.
After each game has been played, the used cards
are shuffled back into the deck. All face cards are valued at ten and the cards
from 2-10 are valued as indicated. If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. You decide what value is more beneficial to your hand. For example, a
hand containing a Jack, 3, and 4 has a value of 17. All hands that are dealt an Ace and a 10 or a face card win, unless the dealer also has a BLACKJACK – a PUSH. After 2 or 3 seconds a box will appear identifying the
table number and the minimum and maximum bet.
These may be represented as either a + and - symbol or up and down arrows. If the dealer's hand and the player's hand are both under 21 the hands are compared. If you split a pair of Aces and then draw a card with a denomination of 10, this is not Blackjack, although it has a value of 21. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet.
