Blackjack is a game where the player competes against the dealer.
Classic Blackjack is played with one standard deck of 52 playing cards that is shuffled before each game. Wagers are placed in the circles provided. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. You decide what value is more beneficial to your hand. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. The card that remains face down is called the Hole card.
The bets can only be changed or added between games. Insurance only covers your original hand. It does not cover any second hands on a split, or a double bet. You may repeat your last bet by simply
hitting the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. The STAND button ends your hand and moves game play to the next available hand – your next hand or the completion of the dealer's hand.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
