In Blackjack, before you are dealt any cards you have the option of making a $1 side bet that allows you to participate in additional payouts.
This Blackjack is played exclusively with a single 52-card deck, as this offers you the best possible chances of winning. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck to 6 such decks. It cannot be beaten, only matched. If you receive an Ace and a Ten value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack. The Dealer will announce Blackjack, pay you one and one-half times the bet, then remove those cards before acting on any other hands.
The bets can only be changed or added between games. If the dealer's hand and the player's hand are both under 21 the hands are compared. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
The SPLIT button is only available if the first two cards dealt are a pair.
