The object of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to 21 than the dealer’s cards, without exceeding 21. hitting the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
