Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games.
Aces can be valued at either one or eleven;
if counting the Ace as eleven would put the hand over twenty-one, the Ace is
automatically counted as one instead. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. You can double when your hand has a value of 9, 10 or 11. Aces count as one or eleven, whichever is to the Player's advantage. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. After 2 or 3 seconds a box will appear identifying the
table number and the minimum and maximum bet.
However, if the Dealers face up card is an Ace or Ten value card, he will act on all hands. If you beat the dealer with a BLACKJACK you are paid out at 3 to 2. If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
