Blackjack is played with 4 decks of cards – with the jokers removed – that are shuffled after the completion of every game.
The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going bust. In this version of Blackjack, you can only bet one hand at a time. You can double when your hand has a value of 9, 10 or 11. The Dealer is dealt two cards but only one card is face up. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by
placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'. The HIT button tells the dealer to deal you another card. You may repeat your last bet by simply
hitting the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
