Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled after the completion of every game. 8 52-card decks are used. If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. Cards 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 count at face value. If the value of the dealer's hand is higher than yours you lose. The Dealer will be dealt one card. Only one additional card allowed on each Ace when splitting a pair of Aces. The COIN buttons are used to choose and adjust the size of your bet.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by
placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of ten and the Aces can have a value of 1 or 11. It does not cover any second hands on a split, or a double bet. If the player doubles and the dealer's first card is of value 11, and the dealer gets blackjack, the player loses both his bets. If you do not have Blackjack on your first two cards, you may decide to stand (draw no more cards), or hit (draw more cards) until you decide to stand. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
