Blackjack is when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. If your hand does not exceed 21 after receiving eleven cards, your hand automatically stands, and the Dealer plays its hand. The card that remains face down is called the Hole card.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by
placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. The DEAL button starts a new game of blackjack. If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. You can HIT as many times as you wish until your hand goes bust or you decide to STAND. The STAND button ends your hand and moves game play to the next available hand – your next hand or the completion of the dealer's hand.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
