Blackjack is played with eight fifty-two-card decks.
After each game has been played, the used cards
are shuffled back into the deck. In Blackjack, aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and number cards as their face value. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck to 6 such decks. Your hand automatically stands.
Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. The Increase and Decrease buttons are used to adjust the size of your bet.
The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. The player may double after splitting. The HIT button tells the dealer to deal you another card. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. Other keyboard
shortcuts are summarized below. You then proceed to draw cards.
