Blackjack is amongst the most popular and well recognized of modern Casino games.
Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled after the completion of every game. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going bust. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. You can double when your hand has a value of 9, 10 or 11. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. Only one additional card allowed on each Ace when splitting a pair of Aces. The Dealer stands on all hands with the value of 17 or more and draws on all hands with the value of 16 or less.
These may be represented as either a + and - symbol or up and down arrows. The DEAL button starts a new game of blackjack. You neither win nor lose. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. You then proceed to draw cards.
