All face cards are valued at ten and the cards
from 2-10 are valued as indicated. Your hand automatically stands. You can double when your hand has a value of 9, 10 or 11. The Doubling bet is equal to your original bet.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. If you beat the dealer with a BLACKJACK you are paid out at 3 to 2. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
