The cards are dealt clockwise from a dealing "shoe. In this version of Blackjack, you can only bet one hand at a time. If the total of your cards is more than 21, you “bust” and lose your bet. If you and the dealer have the same card total (17 and up) neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a “push”. When your hand and the Dealer's hand tie, it is called a Push. The Dealer stands on all hands with the value of 17 or more and draws on all hands with the value of 16 or less.
The Dealer is also dealt two cards but only one card is face up. If he has Blackjack, the hand will be a Push (Standoff) The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case. A second wager – equal to your original wager – is automatically placed on your second hand. If you do not have Blackjack on your first two cards, you may decide to stand (draw no more cards), or hit (draw more cards) until you decide to stand.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
