Classic Blackjack is played with one standard deck of 52 playing cards that is shuffled before each game. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going Bust. Aces can be valued at either one or eleven;
if counting the Ace as eleven would put the hand over twenty-one, the Ace is
automatically counted as one instead. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. Individual tables may have a higher minimum bet and a lower maximum bet. You may draw up to nine additional cards to make a hand of eleven cards, provided the value of your hand does not exceed 21. All hands that are dealt an Ace and a 10 or a face card win, unless the dealer also has a BLACKJACK – a PUSH. All hands that purchased INSURANCE win if the dealer has a BLACKJACK – you will break even; if the dealer doesn't have a BLACKJACK the INSURANCE bet loses.
The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. The DEAL button starts a new game of blackjack. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. The Hit button deals you another card. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. Click on the OK button to complete the update.
