You may draw as many additional cards as wanted as long as the value of your hand does not exceed 21. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going bust. Aces can have a value of either 1 or 11. For example, a
hand containing a Jack, 3, and 4 has a value of 17. In some Casinos the Dealer is dealt two cards but only one is turned so that it's value can be revealed.
However, if the Dealers face up card is an Ace or Ten value card, he will act on all hands. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'. If the Dealer makes 21 with 3 or more cards, the Players Blackjack wins. If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet.
The SPLIT button is only available if the first two cards dealt are a pair.
