The object of BlackJack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21.
During a game of Blackjack cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. BUST Hands: All hands that exceed 21 lose, even if the dealer also goes BUST. If the dealer goes BUST but the player's hand is under 21 the player wins. If you receive an Ace and a Ten value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts - is lost. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours, by clicking the Split button.
