Blackjack is a game where the player competes against the dealer.
Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled after the completion of every game. All face cards are valued at ten and the cards
from 2-10 are valued as indicated. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. Individual tables may have a higher minimum bet and a lower maximum bet. The Dealer is dealt two cards but only one card is face up. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'.
An Ace and eight will add up to 19 but if the player chooses to take another card that would cause the hand's value to exceed 21 the Ace will revert to a value of 1.
These may be represented as either a + and - symbol or up and down arrows. A new window will open displaying the minimum and maximum bet. You may also set your table bet limit below the
maximum specified limit by selecting Bet Options from the Game Menu. You can HIT as many times as you wish until your hand goes bust or you decide to STAND. If you do not have Blackjack on your first two cards, you may decide to stand (draw no more cards), or hit (draw more cards) until you decide to stand. You then proceed to draw cards.
