This version of Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled before each game. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks.
An Ace has a value of either 1 or 11. If you beat the Dealer with Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3 to 2. At the casino floor level, you can place your mouse pointer over a specific table.
The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand.
Insurance costs half your original bet. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of ten and the Aces can have a value of 1 or 11. If you split a pair of Aces and then draw a card with a denomination of 10, this is not Blackjack, although it has a value of 21. You play both hands as separate hands.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
