Blackjack is a game where the player competes against the dealer.
You may draw as many additional cards as wanted as long as the value of your hand does not exceed 21. During a game of Blackjack cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Aces can be valued at either one or eleven;
if counting the Ace as eleven would put the hand over twenty-one, the Ace is
automatically counted as one instead. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'. You can take Insurance if the Dealer's first card is an Ace.
However, if the Dealers face up card is an Ace or Ten value card, he will act on all hands.
Each time you click the left mouse button you will add a chip from that pile to
your planned wager amount. The HIT button tells the dealer to deal you another card. The STAND button ends your hand and moves game play to the next available hand – your next hand or the completion of the dealer's hand.
