The object of BlackJack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21.
This version of Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled before each game. Aces can be valued at either one or eleven;
if counting the Ace as eleven would put the hand over twenty-one, the Ace is
automatically counted as one instead. BUST Hands: All hands that exceed 21 lose, even if the dealer also goes BUST. If you beat the Dealer with Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3 to 2. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. Insurance only covers your original hand. It does not cover any second hands on a split, or a double bet. The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10.
