It is a game between you and the dealer. If you receive an ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack and win one and a half times your bet. Face cards (the Jack, Queen and King) and 10s all have a value of ten. The
value of a hand is the sum of the values of the individual cards. The Dealer is dealt two cards but only one card is face up. Only one additional card allowed on each Ace when splitting a pair of Aces. Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards.
The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. If the dealer's hand and the player's hand are both under 21 the hands are compared. It does not cover any second hands on a split, or a double bet. If your hand does not go Bust (exceeds 21) and still does not equal 21 you may continue to request additional cards until your hand goes Bust, reaches 21 or you decide to Stand. If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet.
