The object of the game is to draw cards totaling closer to 21 than the Dealer draws without going over 21. The deck is re-shuffled after each hand.
Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards. If you beat the Dealer with Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3 to 2. Your chips are stacked by denomination ($1, $5,
$25, $100, $500) at the bottom of the game window. The Dealer will announce Blackjack, pay you one and one-half times the bet, then remove those cards before acting on any other hands.
If both the Dealer and your hand have Blackjack, this is also considered a Push and you are paid out your original bet amount. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts - is lost. If you split a pair of Aces and then draw a card with a denomination of 10, this is not Blackjack, although it has a value of 21. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10. If you are dealt a Blackjack then he will not be allowed to draw further cards as he already has the best possible hand.
