Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games.
It is played with between one and six standard decks of cards. In Blackjack, aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and number cards as their face value.
The dealer must stand on a hard or soft 17 or higher and draw on a hard or soft 16 or lower. Your chips are stacked by denomination ($1, $5,
$25, $100, $500) at the bottom of the game window. You are paid your original bet.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by
placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. The player may double after splitting.
If you are dealt a pair you may SPLIT your hand. This means that your pair is divided into two separate hands with two separate wagers. You may repeat your last bet by simply
hitting the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
