The object of BlackJack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21.
Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled after the completion of every game. 8 52-card decks are used. Aces can be valued at either one or eleven;
if counting the Ace as eleven would put the hand over twenty-one, the Ace is
automatically counted as one instead. The
value of a hand is the sum of the values of the individual cards. An Ace adopts the value most beneficial for your hand.
The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand.
If the dealer's hand total and the player's hand total are the same than the hand is a tie or PUSH and the player's bet is returned. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of ten and the Aces can have a value of 1 or 11. If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
