Blackjack is played with eight fifty-two-card decks.
It is played with between one and six standard decks of cards. Blackjack always beats any other hand with a value of 21. Your hand automatically stands. If the total of your cards is more than 21, you “bust” and lose your bet. If you and the dealer have the same card total (17 and up) neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a “push”. If your hand does not exceed 21 after receiving eleven cards, your hand automatically stands, and the Dealer plays its hand. Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards.
The bets can only be changed or added between games. If you beat the dealer with a BLACKJACK you are paid out at 3 to 2. The Deal button starts a new game of Blackjack. The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours, by clicking the Split button.
