Blackjack is a game where the player competes against the dealer.
Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. You will be dealt two cards.
After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by
placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. If the player doubles and the dealer's first card is of value 11, and the dealer gets blackjack, the player loses both his bets. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split. If you are dealt a Blackjack then he will not be allowed to draw further cards as he already has the best possible hand.
