Face cards have a value of 10 and the Aces a value of one or eleven. During a game of Blackjack cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Dealer stands on all 17's. You can double when your hand has a value of 9, 10 or 11. For example, a
hand containing a Jack, 3, and 4 has a value of 17. Blackjack beats a score of 21. You are paid your original bet.
If the dealer's hand total and the player's hand total are the same than the hand is a tie or PUSH and the player's bet is returned. The player may double after splitting. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack.
