Blackjack is played with eight fifty-two-card decks.
The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going Bust. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck to 6 such decks.
Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards. It cannot be beaten, only matched. All hands that are dealt an Ace and a 10 or a face card win, unless the dealer also has a BLACKJACK – a PUSH.
These may be represented as either a + and - symbol or up and down arrows. The DEAL button starts a new game of blackjack. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. If the Dealer makes 21 with 3 or more cards, the Players Blackjack wins.
