In Blackjack, aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and number cards as their face value. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks.
Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. You are paid your original bet.
The player may not split a split hand.
Each time you click the left mouse button you will add a chip from that pile to
your planned wager amount. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. You may repeat your last bet by simply
hitting the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. If you do not have Blackjack on your first two cards, you may decide to stand (draw no more cards), or hit (draw more cards) until you decide to stand. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
