Blackjack is played with 4 decks of cards – with the jokers removed – that are shuffled after the completion of every game.
The object of the game is to draw cards totaling closer to 21 than the Dealer draws without going over 21. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going Bust.
The dealer must stand on a hard or soft 17 or higher and draw on a hard or soft 16 or lower. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. Individual tables may have a higher minimum bet and a lower maximum bet. The Dealer will be dealt one card. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'.
The bets can only be changed or added between games. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts - is lost. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. You then proceed to draw cards.
