In Blackjack, before you are dealt any cards you have the option of making a $1 side bet that allows you to participate in additional payouts.
Wagers are placed in the circles provided. The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going bust. In this version of Blackjack, you can only bet one hand at a time. You decide what value is more beneficial to your hand. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. In some Casinos the Dealer is dealt two cards but only one is turned so that it's value can be revealed. You are paid your original bet.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by
placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. The player may double after splitting. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. You may repeat your last bet by simply
hitting the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet.
The SPLIT button is only available if the first two cards dealt are a pair.
