The object of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to 21 than the dealer’s cards, without exceeding 21. In Blackjack, aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and number cards as their face value. The deck is re-shuffled after each hand. You will be dealt two cards. If you and the dealer have the same card total (17 and up) neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a “push”. In some Casinos the Dealer is dealt two cards but only one is turned so that it's value can be revealed. All hands that purchased INSURANCE win if the dealer has a BLACKJACK – you will break even; if the dealer doesn't have a BLACKJACK the INSURANCE bet loses.
These may be represented as either a + and - symbol or up and down arrows. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts - is lost. You neither win nor lose. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. You then proceed to draw cards.
