Upon wagering, you and the dealer (the
computer) are dealt two cards to start. Blackjack always beats any other hand with a value of 21. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. Doubling after splitting allowed. There are two ways to determine the table bet limit for a specific table. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. Select the amount you would
like to wager on a given hand by clicking the left mouse button on the chip of
that denomination.
If you are dealt an Ace and a 10 or face card this is called a BLACKJACK and your hand will STAND automatically. A new window will open displaying the minimum and maximum bet. If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. If the Dealer makes 21 with 3 or more cards, the Players Blackjack wins. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination.
