Cards are worth their face value with the exception of Kings, Queens, and Jacks which are each worth 10 and Aces which are
worth either 1 or 11. Blackjack is when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten. You decide what value is more beneficial to your hand. It cannot be beaten, only matched. Each hand played is a separate wager against the dealer.
However, if the Dealers face up card is an Ace or Ten value card, he will act on all hands. Insurance only covers your original hand. If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. If your card count goes over 21, you lose.
