The object of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to 21 than the dealer’s cards, without exceeding 21. If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. The Dealer will be dealt one card. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. Select the amount you would
like to wager on a given hand by clicking the left mouse button on the chip of
that denomination.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by
placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. The DEAL button starts a new game of blackjack. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. A second wager – equal to your original wager – is automatically placed on your second hand. The STAND button ends your hand and moves game play to the next available hand – your next hand or the completion of the dealer's hand. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours, by clicking the Split button.
