Blackjack is a game where the player competes against the dealer.
Upon wagering, you and the dealer (the
computer) are dealt two cards to start. Aces can be valued at either one or eleven;
if counting the Ace as eleven would put the hand over twenty-one, the Ace is
automatically counted as one instead. If the value of the dealer's hand is higher than yours you lose. No re-splitting of cards allowed. At the casino floor level, you can place your mouse pointer over a specific table.
After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.
If you are dealt an Ace and a 10 or face card this is called a BLACKJACK and your hand will STAND automatically. The player may double after splitting. If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. If your hand does not go Bust (exceeds 21) and still does not equal 21 you may continue to request additional cards until your hand goes Bust, reaches 21 or you decide to Stand. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. You then proceed to draw cards.
