The object of BlackJack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21.
Face cards have a value of 10 and the Aces a value of one or eleven. Blackjack always beats any other hand with a value of 21. Face cards (the Jack, Queen and King) and 10s all have a value of ten.
Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards. If you beat the Dealer with Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3 to 2. All hands that are dealt an Ace and a 10 or a face card win, unless the dealer also has a BLACKJACK – a PUSH.
If the dealer's hand total and the player's hand total are the same than the hand is a tie or PUSH and the player's bet is returned. The player may double after splitting. The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. For example, a King and a Ten have the same numerical value, but cannot be split because the cards are not the same denomination. Click on the OK button to complete the update.
