» Blackjack Blackjack is played with 4 decks of cards – with the jokers removed – that are shuffled after the completion of every game.
After each game has been played, the used cards
are shuffled back into the deck. All face cards are valued at ten and the cards
from 2-10 are valued as indicated. Aces can be valued at either one or eleven;
if counting the Ace as eleven would put the hand over twenty-one, the Ace is
automatically counted as one instead. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks.
An Ace has a value of either 1 or 11. You are dealt one card and your hand automatically stands. Blackjack beats a score of 21. Select the amount you would
like to wager on a given hand by clicking the left mouse button on the chip of
that denomination.
You can split two cards that have the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts - is lost. If your initial two cards do not total 21 then you may request additional cards, called a Hit. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
