The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going Bust.
The dealer must stand on a hard or soft 17 or higher and draw on a hard or soft 16 or lower. Picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as ten. If you and the dealer have the same card total (17 and up) neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a “push”. Blackjack beats a score of 21.
The Dealer is also dealt two cards but only one card is face up. Your hand is divided into two separate hands and a bet equal to your original bet is placed on the second hand. Likewise by clicking on the right mouse button you
can decrease your planned wager amount. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours, by clicking the Split button.
