In Blackjack, before you are dealt any cards you have the option of making a $1 side bet that allows you to participate in additional payouts.
It is played with between one and six standard decks of cards. Blackjack always beats any other hand with a value of 21. If the total value of your cards is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, you win as much as you had wagered. It is the strongest hand in Blackjack, and automatically stands. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. Your chips are stacked by denomination ($1, $5,
$25, $100, $500) at the bottom of the game window. You can take Insurance if the Dealer's first card is an Ace.
The object of Blackjack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21. If you beat the dealer with a BLACKJACK you are paid out at 3 to 2. If the player's hand is closer to 21 the player wins, if the dealer's hand is closer to 21 the player loses. If the Dealer makes 21 with 3 or more cards, the Players Blackjack wins. You play both hands as separate hands.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
