Blackjack is amongst the most popular and well recognized of modern Casino games.
It is a game between you and the dealer. If you are dealt an Ace and a card with a value of 10, you have Blackjack. You do not need to specify which value the
Ace has as it's always assumed to have the value that makes the best hand. Picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as ten. Aces count as one or eleven, whichever is to the Player's advantage. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards.
However, if the Dealers face up card is an Ace or Ten value card, he will act on all hands. Insurance only covers your original hand. You neither win nor lose. Cards of the same value but not of the same denomination cannot be split in this version of Blackjack. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10.
