Blackjack is amongst the most popular and well recognized of modern Casino games.
During a game of Blackjack cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe.
Each of the player's hands is dealt two cards. The Dealer is dealt two cards but only one card is face up. If your hand does not exceed 21 after receiving eleven cards, your hand automatically stands, and the Dealer plays its hand. The Dealer will announce Blackjack, pay you one and one-half times the bet, then remove those cards before acting on any other hands.
The amount wagered per hand may be increased or decreased by
placing the mouse on the stack that you wish to add or subtract to your bet. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of ten and the Aces can have a value of 1 or 11. The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case. If the Dealer makes 21 with 3 or more cards, the Players Blackjack wins. If your first two cards have the same point value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours, by clicking the Split button.
