Blackjack is played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards that are shuffled after the completion of every game. If the total value of your cards is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, you win as much as you had wagered.
An Ace has a value of either 1 or 11. The Doubling bet is equal to your original bet.
Insurance costs half your original bet. If the Dealer gets Blackjack after you have split or doubled, your entire bet - both the original and double or split amounts - is lost. The goal is for the player's hand to add up to 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer's hand. If the player doubles and the dealer's first card is of value 11, and the dealer gets blackjack, the player loses both his bets. You play both hands as separate hands.
