Blackjack is a game of skill and chance between you and the Dealer.
The game is played on a semi-circular table with 5 or 7 playing positions. 8 52-card decks are used. Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) count as ten. The Dealer will be dealt one card. If your hand does not exceed 21 after receiving eleven cards, your hand automatically stands, and the Dealer plays its hand. Select the amount you would
like to wager on a given hand by clicking the left mouse button on the chip of
that denomination.
The Dealer is also dealt two cards but only one card is face up. The player may double after splitting.
If you are dealt a pair you may SPLIT your hand. This means that your pair is divided into two separate hands with two separate wagers. You may repeat your last bet by simply
hitting the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. You play both hands as separate hands.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
