It is a game between you and the dealer. If you go over 21 this is called going BUST and you automatically lose the hand. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck to 6 such decks. Blackjack is when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten. You will be dealt two cards. No re-splitting of cards allowed. All hands that are dealt an Ace and a 10 or a face card win, unless the dealer also has a BLACKJACK – a PUSH.
The object of Blackjack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21. The card that remains face down is called the 'hole card'. You may also set your table bet limit below the
maximum specified limit by selecting Bet Options from the Game Menu. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours, by clicking the Split button.
