Blackjack is a game where the player competes against the dealer.
You may draw as many additional cards as wanted as long as the value of your hand does not exceed 21. If the Dealer's hand exceeds 21, it is bust, and you automatically win. In Classic Blackjack, you can only bet one hand at a time. If the value of your hand is closer to 21 than that of the dealer, you win. If the total of your cards is more than 21, you “bust” and lose your bet. The Dealer will be dealt one card. If you have a total of 22 or higher (a busted hand), you lose regardless of whether the dealer also busts. After 2 or 3 seconds a box will appear identifying the
table number and the minimum and maximum bet.
Insurance costs half your original bet. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of ten and the Aces can have a value of 1 or 11.
If you are dealt a pair you may SPLIT your hand. This means that your pair is divided into two separate hands with two separate wagers. The Hit button deals you another card. You play both hands as separate hands.
If you have SPLIT a pair of aces and then draw a card with a value of ten then this is not a BLACKJACK.
