In Blackjack, before you are dealt any cards you have the option of making a $1 side bet that allows you to participate in additional payouts.
All face cards are valued at ten and the cards
from 2-10 are valued as indicated. Traditionally a shoe may contain anything from one standard 52-card deck – no jokers – to 6 or sometimes 8 decks. You can double when your hand has a value of 9, 10 or 11. The Dealer is dealt two cards but only one card is face up. If you receive an Ace and a Ten value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack. After 2 or 3 seconds a box will appear identifying the
table number and the minimum and maximum bet.
Alternatively, you can click on a specific table. The bet size can only be changed between games. You neither win nor lose. The Modify Table Bet Limit window will appear on the screen. The Stand button, sometimes called the Stay button, ends your hand and moves the game onto the next phase be it the completion of the dealer's hand or of your second hand in the case of a Split. You can split two cards with the same denomination, such as two Queens or two Fours, by clicking the Split button.
