Blackjack is played with 4 decks of cards – with the jokers removed – that are shuffled after the completion of every game.
The game is played on a semi-circular table with 5 or 7 playing positions. If the value of your hand is closer to 21 than that of the dealer, you win. Any combination of cards that contains an Ace card and whose value does not exceed 21 is referred to as a ‘soft hand’. In some Casinos the Dealer is dealt two cards but only one is turned so that it's value can be revealed. The card that remains face down is called the Hole card.
The dealer must hit on all hands totaling 16 or less and stand on all hands totaling 17 or more. If the dealer's hand and the player's hand are both under 21 the hands are compared. The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case. You may repeat your last bet by simply
hitting the "0" button of your numeric keyboard. If you are dealt a Blackjack (an ace and a card of value ten) then the dealer will automatically lose unless his single card is an Ace or a card of value 10.
The SPLIT button is only available if the first two cards dealt are a pair.
